I am quite disappointed with the Ravens poor showing thus far in the season. I've been a fan since they moved to Baltimore in 1996. They established their identity as a bruising defensive squad, with just enough offense to win. They've been in the playoffs several times and even won a Super Bowl. But they underachieved last year and missed the playoffs. It's not just this year's 1-2 start that's got me worried, as much as the fact that they're unable to stop teams like they used to. Even us fans know the offense is not gonna put up 20+ points a game by itself. It's up to the defense to force turnovers and interceptions to set the offense up in good spots. They got thoroughly outclassed by the Colts and didn't impress much against a crippled Jets team. If they don't get their act together, it could mean another season out of the playoffs. Let's see if stalwart Ray Lewis can pump up the guys to play like they did last year.
