Miami-Dallas. Mavs-Heat. Either way, it has a new kinda ring to it (no surprise considering that both franchises are making their first Finals appearances). Still, it looks like it should be a great battle. Both teams have slayed the favored powerhouses (Spurs and Pistons), and both have a stacked lineup. Both have MVP-caliber studs (Nowitzki and Wade). Dallas has the homecourt advantage. But the Heat have the veteran advantage. If the Mavs are able to use their athleticism to overwhlem the Heat it could be a short series. But if Miami is able to establish the power game, it will likely be a longer series, and more favorable to the Heat. In any case, it should be a lot more interesting than some of the boring matchups we've had in the recent past (Spurs-Nets, anyone?)
